  Nudge Region/Event Position Right by Beat

Move the currently selected region(s) to the right by one beat.

You can nudge regions (move them in small increments) left or right using key commands. To nudge regions, you first set the nudge value, then move selected regions by this value. Alternatively, you can nudge regions by a set value.

Simple in concept. If I have moved a region on a track, and I want it to be placed back at the original point, move to recorded position seems perfect.

I was surprised with my test case, a song that was extracted from an hour-long set. I created regions for the tracks and exported the audio to work in a smaller project. When I sliced out a region, moved it, and tried to move it back I got a warning that the project had different time. Logic offered to offset time so I could place the audio at 1:43:10. This is actually useful if I want to refer back to the original full set recording.

This command only works for timestamped audio files, such as those recorded in the current project, and imported Broadcast Wave or SDII files. Timestamped files are indicated by a clock symbol in the Project Audio Browser.

MIDI plug-ins have a MIDI input, the MIDI processor, and a MIDI output. The output signals sent from MIDI plug-ins are standard MIDI events such as MIDI note or controller messages.

Exclusive Group: Choose a group for the pad. You can assign multiple pads to the same group. As soon as one drum sound in the group is triggered, all other sounds in that same group are stopped. For example, you could group three pads with open, semi-closed, and closed hi-hat sounds. Only one of these sounds can be played at a time, mirroring the behavior of real hi-hats.
