Toggle Channel Strip Mute M — Logic Pro keyboard command of the day

  Toggle Channel Strip Mute M

Alternate the state of channel muting, on and off. I am getting somewhat inconsistent results when using the command in the Tracks window. Sometimes the selected channel does not toggle.

Mute and solo channel strips in Logic Pro — Apple Support

You can silence (mute) a channel strip so that you don’t hear it when you play the project. Muting channel strips is useful when you want to compare how the project sounds with and without the target track, compare alternative versions of a track, or try different loops in a project.

Toggle Hide Group 60 — Logic Pro keyboard command of the day

  Toggle Hide Group 60

Show or hide all of the channels in group 60. Channels can be in multiple groups. The number of possibilities for group combinations is quite large.

Always good to know about the “group clutch” which has fallen out of favor as a term. People don’t know what a clutch is any more 😉 When you’re not sure about the change you are going to make push in the clutch so the change will only affect the current channel, not all channels in the group.

Set Nudge Value to 1/16 Triplet (1/24) — Logic Pro keyboard command of the day

Set Nudge Value to 1/16 Triplet (1/24)

Sets the nudge value (amount of time an event or transient will be moved ‘later’) to create a 1/16 note triplet feel. This is equvalent to 1/24 of a bar.

Move regions in Logic Pro — Apple Support

You can nudge regions (move them in small increments) left or right using key commands. To nudge regions, you first set the nudge value, then move selected regions by this value. Alternatively, you can nudge regions by a set value.
