Set Nudge Value to Bar ⌃⌥M — Logic Pro keyboard command of the day (KCotD)

Set Nudge Value to Bar ⌃⌥M

Sets the nudge value (the ‘distance’ the object will move) to a bar. I find nudging objects around to much easier and ‘safer’ using keyboard commands with proper values. That’s more convenient than moving the mouse to the toolbar and clicking the little arrow buttons.

Move regions in the Logic Pro Tracks area — Apple Support

Nudge regions by the nudge value
In Logic Pro, select the regions you want to move. Press and hold Option and press the Left or Right Arrow key.

I need to remember that there is a NUDGE button on the X-Touch. Pressing the NUDGE button arms the fast-forward and fast-rewind buttons to nudge forward and backward. Full and complete access to the nudge functions in the toolbar.

Live Loops: Show Length as Position

Display the length of the selected cell as positions in bars and beats. A one bar cell has a length of 1 with cell start position of 1 1 and cell end position of 2 1.

I think learning how to translate Ableton Live commands and actions into Live Loops commands and actions might be a very good way to dive in to Live Loops…
